WA Series Washer
The WA series CCTV camera washer is designed and manufactured in the UK. It is available with a number of options to accommodate nearly every type of security installation.
The WA series CCTV washer forms a critical part of any CCTV installation where there is dirt or atmospheric contaminates. Without the use of a washer (and wiper) picture degradation starts from the very first day on installation.
The WA series CCTV washer have been designed with ease of installation and minimal service overhead in mind. The plug-in connectors allows the water bottle to be removed from the cradle and taken elsewhere for filling up. This is not just convenient but where the washer is installed near other electrical equipment an absolute necessity.

All our products are designed by us on Solidworks 3D CAD software. We can provide you with simple PDF line drawings (some available on the site already) or any number of other formats including DXF, DWG, eDrawing etc.

The good news is that the rear mounting frame is identical for both camera types, and always has been.
The mounting frame is designed to fit into the corner of the room and to stay there. We recommend an anti-pick mastic is applied around the edge of the frame to minimise ligature risk so once it is in you don’t want to take it out.
So apart from the obvious cabling and recording challenges you may have once less headache you need to consider is the physical swap out. It is just six screws.
We recently introduced the option of having the CMD range in stainless steel. This is an ideal solution if you are trying to match the aesthetics of existing room furnishing or if you have a requirement to clean the camera with a corrosive fluid*.
*Just check the cleaner does not damage the screens!
The camera screen is manufactured from a very tough polycarbonate with a scratch resistant coating. If, however, the camera screen does get damaged you may need to replace it. This is possible on site but is not easy as it requires sealing as part of the process. We would always recommend that the unit is returned to us for replacement but if this is not practical then contact us so we can issue you a specific and detailed instruction.
